Piko Toetoe,
Papatoetoe

The name Piko Toetoe or ‘curving toetoe grass’ is a reference to the old and the new (being a new development in Old Papatoetoe). Piko toetoe is an urban terraced house precinct connected by lanes and pathways weaving through shared gardens. Piko Toetoe will assist in the regeneration of Old Papatoetoe with a carefully crafted masterplan that will offer not only residential but commercial benefits too. Piko Toetoe will inject some much needed refreshment into a tired area. The unique but functional design is set to change the Papatoetoe streetscape and town centre. Crosson Architects, an award winning industry leader in their field, have developed the masterplan and building design. Maintaining input throughout the duration of the project’s delivery, Crosson’s will ensure that the intended outcomes meet the intentions of the crafted design. Boffa Miskell will provide the landscape design and peer review the urban design elements to provide a grounding of the buildings to the common space and offer amenity for residents and visitors to Piko Toetoe.
